ABOUT Melissa Davis
Melissa became a confirmed Anglophile on February 9. 1964 when she, along with 73.9 other Americans, watched the Beatles first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show.
She was a member of the inaugural class of the worlds' first graduate level degree program focusing on the impact of the Beatles on popular music and society, held at Liverpool Hope University in 2009-2010. She graduated 'With Honors' in July 2011, but her proudest achievement was returning to the States with a nickname – 'Mel', from the city that even has one for itself - The 'Pool.'
Mel was an attorney for a dozen years before returning to her first love – teaching – and at one point or another in her career has written patients rights legislation, fire safety regulations and personal profiles for an international dating agency, as well as ghosting magazine articles on emerging legal issues.
Melissa returned to her home state, Colorado, home of championship football (gridiron) and hockey, where she founded The Beatle Works and continues to tutor, write and publish about The Beatles.
